Description
Gene Kogan’s video “Interplanetary” depicts an infinite progression of lush and exotic alien creatures residing symbiotically in organic vegetation. The technique by which Kogan made the video uses a generative neural network trained over millions of images and controlled through natural language. By prompting the model with unusual sentence constructions mixing Earthly ecology with sci-fi alien plots, strange interplanetary juxtapositions are generated.
