“I remember somewhere hearing Tabor Robak called a “dark-web Nam June Paik” and I could never really unthink it. Much of why I have been drawn to Tabor’s work is wanting to be it. He has the ability to make work that ties together a lot of themes of our generation into something consumable, looking at video games, advertising, and technology in a way that combines late capitalism and privacy with gaming words and colorways.
